We believe that all of our lives are enriched by our connections with the world around us: with the natural world, wild places, and the stories and people that have shaped our communities.

Alternative Education

We run a series of alternative education programmes for young people who, for a variety of reasons, are not attending full-time education.

School Workshops

We offer a range of educational workshops that can be delivered either at school or at heritage sites. The programmes we offer are diverse and we can put together an exciting and engaging day based around any theme.

As part of our mission to engage as many people as possible with our core themes, we run regular open days such as Earthworks (where anyone can come and spend some time learning woodland skills and conservation) and put together projects accessible by vulnerable groups and the wider community.
