My calm and encouraging nature helps children to feel relaxed and to be themselves.

I’ve been working with children for over 20 years and for the past ten years have worked extensively with children with SEN/SEMH. My calm and encouraging nature helps children to feel relaxed and to be themselves. I am passionate about children finding their own voice and I believe the outdoors and nature are a great place to find that!

What do you enjoy teaching the most?

I love to create space for children to use their imagination – whether that be making our own dens or playing and creating as we explore.

What can our young people expect on a typical day out with you?

It’s important for me to give children the freedom to explore both using their imagination and the outdoors and so they can expect a playful adventure!

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

I love to be outdoors walking, biking and hanging out with my family! Oh and making brownies…

What is your favourite outdoor space?

The moors – it’s my happy place!
